Frequently Asked Questions

Are there limits as to the number of letters or characters?
In most cases, I can stitch whatever you would like. However, please be aware that the more letters, the smaller the font.

Where can I find font & font color/thread color options?
If you scroll through each listing, the last couple of photos detail the font and thread color options for that particular item. Alternatively, you can see the options here:  www.flybabiesembroidery.com/options-to-personalize.html

Can I see a proof of my monogram or name?
Absolutely! After you purchase, I'm happy to provide you a proof of your monogram or name in different fonts so you can decide which one you like best.  Be certain to let me know that you would like to see a proof  in the "Personalization Details" text area.

I'm purchasing a gift. Can you send to the recipient?
I'm happy to include an enclosure note and ship directly to the recipient. Items will be wrapped in tissue paper & no receipt or payment information will be included.  You can let me know what you would like hand written on the enclosure note in the "Personalization Details" section when you check out or send me an message at Erika@FlybabiesEmbroidery.com.   Please be certain that you use the recipient's address as the "Ship To" address.

What is the proper order for my monogram?
Ladies' monograms, for example, are traditionally stitched in the order of first initial, last initial, middle initial – with the center initial being larger.
Therefore, Mary Jane Smith would be: mSj.
Men usually use letters all the same size across - FML. So, David Paul Smith would appear: DPS
Couples incorporate their names like: mSd (Mary & David Smith)

Alternatively, two initials can be incorporated. This happens in the case where a both parties keep their last names. So, the marriage of Smith & Jones would be: SJ (either side by side or stacked)

When you check out, it is helpful if you also give the name spelling for monograms so we can double-check for accuracy. You can enter this info in the "Personalization Details" section.

Policies

All prices include complimentary personalization in your choice of font and color.   If you are interested in products with no personalization, you can enter "no personalization" in the Personalization Details section when you complete your order.

Once an order is placed, the design work begins shortly thereafter.  Therefore, as a general rule, no modifications can be made once the order is placed.  However, if you contact me in time, there might be a chance that modifications can be made to your order.  Please contact:  Erika@FlybabiesEmbroidery.com immediately.

Due to the nature of personalized items, anything personalized cannot be returned unless there is an error on our part or a defect in the product that escaped our eagle eyes. If that is the case, please send a message, along with a photo of the error. If it is determined to be a shop error, we will gladly replace the item and ship it to you at our expense.

Every effort has been made to display the color swatches shown as true, however, please note that actual colors may vary depending on your screen settings.

Timeline and Shipping

We strive to produce and ship your items as quickly as possible.  Most items are shipped within 5 business days of your order, sometimes sooner.  However, larger and bulk orders can take a little longer.  If you require your items by a certain date, please contact Erika directly at Erika@FlybabiesEmbroidery.com to be certain we can accommodate your requirement.  Rush and upgraded shipping charges may apply.

​Please read all shop policies and frequently asked questions.  Additionally, please monitor your email address on file after you place your order. If there are any questions regarding your order, we will contact you and a timely response to our inquiries will expedite processing of your order.

Items ship via U.S. Postal Service or FedEx. You will receive a notification along with a tracking number once your package ships. While these carriers specify a delivery date and are usually accurate and on-time, delivery dates are not guaranteed due to fluctuations in parcel traffic - especially during the holidays.

Great care is taken in packaging your custom items, but if you prefer, your package can be insured for an additional charge. Please contact for rates and options.

Shipping is available worldwide. International customers please contact prior to ordering so appropriate shipping rates are calculated. Flybabies Embroidery is not responsible for any foreign taxes or duties. Please research possible import taxes and duties prior to ordering.
